Reading a Lynne Marshall book is always a treat as she weaves her medical knowledge and compassion into her stories. A perfect feel good book, ASSIGNMENT BABY is a keeper. I love these medical romances because I learn a little from each one, but this author in particular has a gift for explaining things in layman's terms, as well as for writing very involving romances. Lynne Marshall writes a beautiful story about a couple creating a passionate romance that can last a lifetime, a romance beyond just a mere fling or a good-looking resume from the outside in. I enjoyed seeing this couple work through their difficulties and grow together. ~ Merrimon Lynne Marshall depicts her characters well as it’s practically impossible not to relate to or at least understand Amanda and Hunter. And who couldn’t help but fall in love with Sophie just a tiny bit? Bravo, Ms. Marshall!

This is the second book in my Santa Barbara trilogy where René and Jon make a deal that goes terribly awry. I’m also very happy to be sharing this 2-in-1 with Scottish author Anne Fraser. This book will also be released in North America in August all by itself. Stay tuned for the US book cover as it becomes available. Fingers crossed for one as beautiful as this! 05.01.10:: Happy Mother’s Day on May 9th! I’m sharing one of my mother’s special recipes in my May Dear Reader letter, and I’ve got a few words of inspiration for you late bloomers out there in this month’s article. I’ve also posted a few new pictures this month, which were taken at the Desert Rose Conference in Scottsdale, AZ in April. Fantastic conference, by the way. I’m also excited to tell you that Assignment: Baby has been translated into Swedish and Norwegian!
04.01.10:: I finally have a title for the third book in my MidCoast Medical trilogy – Appearance: I will be participating in a huge book signing in Arizona on April 17th from 5:45 – 7:00 pm at the Chaparral Suites Resort, 5001 N. Scottsdale Road, Scottsdale, AZ. If you live in the area and love romance, you will be in heaven with a huge number of romance authors on hand to sign their books.
